What is Eye-Fi

In the last article I had a little mention of the Eye-Fi, so this time I'll give a little information What is a Eye-Fi. The goal is that information you can gather from this blog is not part of it but intact. Eye-Fi is a type of SDHC card with wi-fi capability. Because SD and SDHC type, this card can be crammed into most digital cameras, and photographs that are in it can be automatically transferred wirelessly to a PC based on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.

However, there is also another model that allows us to upload images automatically without the intermediary PC to a variety of services photo sharing, blogging and social networking sites like Flickr, Picasa, Facebook and PhotoBucket. Other models allow you to upload videos either to the PC as well as YouTube.

The last news I know is this card has four models namely the Eye-Fi "Home", "Share" and "Geo", each with a capacity of 2 GB. "Home Video", "Share Video", "Explore Videos", "Pro" and "Connect X2" which brekapasitas 4 GB. "Explore X2" and "Pro X2" with a capacity of 8GB.

Version of the "Share" supports uploads to photo sharing Web sites. Version of "Share Video " allows upload photos and video. Version of "Pro" adds RAW image support and a peer-to-peer. While the version of "Pro X2" adds support for read & write speed Class 6, 802.1 1N and a brand-new feature nicknamed "Endless Memory Mode".
